Melike Serengil Ozcelik is a public health researcher and nutrition scientist specializing in Functional and Integrative Health. She holds academic degrees in Psychology, Public Health, and Functional Nutrition, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Functional Nutrition at Everglades University.
Firmly believing in the power of scientific research to shape healthier futures, Melike contributes to volunteer-based research and educational initiatives that aim to bridge the gap between evidence-based nutritional science, public health policy, and consumer awareness. Her key areas of expertise include vitamin-mineral balance, food labeling transparency, and the prevention of diet-related chronic diseases.
She is a Fellow of the Complementary Medical Association (FCMA) and a Fellow of the North Carolina Academy of Research & Development (NCARD)—organizations that recognize outstanding commitment to scientific advancement and public health. Additionally, she is an active member of the American Public Health Association (APHA) and the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP), through which she stays connected to the most current developments in public and nutritional health.
